Anyone ever use your deer target as a decoy? I have a GlenDel Buck and want to use a decoy this year and don't want to spend another $150. Considering using my GlenDel. Anyone else ever do this with success?

I personally haven't but a guy on my lease did a few years ago with at medium buck checking it out

I'd say go for it unless you see deer spooking

There may be something to that. We have left our decoys out only to find them busted up and scattered all over. The best that I can figure is a buck came along and picked a fight. This has happened everytime that we leave one out, which is quite often. I should try this with a game camera pointed at the decoy. That could be intersting.
