Gents

I have a dog that I have worked for about 9months now. He was certified at Texas Blood Trackers and is a real "go getter". I live in Grayson county and willing to travel to find deer in Collin, Denton, cooke, grayson, fannin, hunt and Kaufman counties. We train every other day and he is ready to find your deer. Save my number, whether it be a monster buck or a doe, but no hogs give us a call.

Thank you,

Barrett

Thanks, a good dog can make all the difference sometimes in finding a deer.

$200 plus tip and fuel beyond 50miles. My 11 year old daughter often reminds me that Austin is her dog, I am just the handler! I CAN say that every penny earned will go to her for college money less the expenses along with the proceeds from her heifers and calves. She trains with us and will be tagging along on some real tracks as long as it doesn't interfere with school.
He certified with Texas Blood Trackers as a 6 month pup. He went 800yds on 6oz of blood that was 8hrs old with cattle, other deer and several other obstacles. He did great, stayed focused and surprised many of the other handlers. We have since worked nonstop to sharpen his skills. I am proud to have a legit "blood tracking dog" and to make our team available to you if needed.

It doesn't cost you anything to save my number, LOL! You never know when you might find yourself saying "where did my deer go"?
Thank you,

Barrett

I was trying to not make this a classifieds ad. Good dogs are hard to find in our area (they are certainly here, just hard to find unless you know someone) and wanted to make mine available. I lost a nice deer and I am certain that had I had a dog we would've recovered. Needless to say, now I have a dog!

That is awesome. We could have used your dog big time last year. I can handle those prices if it means finding my deer. I'll save your number no doubt.

For deer season we usually pull up a sticky for this section for blood trackers, I am sure not all are current but is better to have a list than not. Will add your OP to that thread when we sticky it again this year for season.

My dog has no certification but has found most of what I have put him on. Coldest trail so far was 16 hours after they lost the trail the day before.

Tracking Dogs found my sons buck last year in South TX. Probably would not have recovered his deer without them. Well worth what it cost!

My pup came from a pretty long line of working dogs. I started messing with him and he really Caught on quick. We chose to do the hunt test because I was not sure how good he was and wanted to see some "finished" dogs in action. Prior to the hunt test, I set a track that was nearly 900yds by gps and let it sit over night. He did it no problem. I thought he was good but I wanted to KNOW how good. sure enough he did great and exceeded expectations of the judges and other handlers. He has steadily gotten better since then.
I say that to say, the test is just that. If you want to find your deer call a dog. They have the ability to track blood that the human eye cannot see and will even track the trail of the wounded deer with no visible blood! Don't give up fellas call a dog even if it is not my dog. There is no sense in letting a animal suffer or go to waste.

I would love to try to teach my lab pup to track for personal use. Guess I need to start reading up on training.

Everyone seems to have their own way of training. After reading tons of info on it I just came up with my own way since I didn't have access to lots of blood. What I did was take frozen ground vension and stuff some in a old sock then tie it shut. The blood will bleed into the sock. Next I would tie a piece of fishing line to the sock and drag it around. Worked for my Beagle.

I've got a GWP that is ready as well. We are on a bow only lease and he has found a few. We would always be willing to help anyone up in Foard, Cottle, Baylor area we're up there most weekends during the season. 214.213.9995

He found this deer twice the 1st time it ran a mile so we let it lay over night and he found it again the next day. The only time he barks in the woods is when he finds a deer.
