Our place is dry as a bone, looks like the middle of winter. Got .4 in June and .6 last week, that's it. Sure would like to get plots in soon.

Driest I've seen on our place since the drought and fire.

The deer are in great shape from all the spring and summer rains. They are wiping out the feed at the feeders.

Sets up well for opening weekend, but not for guys that plant food plots.

You know the drill. Floodgates open when season starts.

Same here Pitchfork, and yeah they are hitting feed hard at our place too, not many acorns this year either. Couldn't plant summer crops because of too much rain, and can't plant now because of the lack of it hammer

Where is that Godzilla El Niņo? I do like that the deer are coming to the feeder, they were not as scheduled last year!

Me too Tres.

We also need some rain, way to dry, the worst part is if we don't get some I think we will land up with some record wildfires.

Went from floods in July, to tanks going dry in September. Might be the fastest turn around I've ever seen. Can't even consider trying to put in my plot.

Thank you...thank you very much

We got a good rain last night in Montague. Wake me up at 4 am and standing water everywhere. Visited one feeder today we haven't been to since January and growth was over 4 feet tall all over. Spent 45 minutes with a brush saw and only got 1/2 of the pen done. Next time I will bring a rake as well. The rain was great but we need to prepare better next year. Round Up will be used.

That's why all my seed is still in the bag. I have no intention of planting until there is good moisture and the expectation of further rains.
