This was my first time buying into an outfitter for a hunt, and I gotta tell you I was pretty skeptical about it because of some of the horror stories Ive read about guides dropping people off out in a blind with a feeder near by......and the outfitters support ending there. But I had an out-of-towner from back home visiting and we really wanted to hunt something other than coyotes around Greenville, so we rolled the dice and booked Band of Brothers.

From the get go Matt and Rick were awesome, putting all of our skepticism to rest. When we arrived it was apparent that Rick was more interested in us bagging some hogs and making sure that we had a good time, rather than taking our money. After this experience I would not only consider these guys as guides, but as friends.

Rick had the feeders all prepped well in advance and showed us tons of recent action as a result on the game cameras where he set us up. They have more than 4000 acres at this particular site with deer, hogs, ponds, ducks, doves and coyotes....and we saw them all in the matter of one evening. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again for any of these hunts. Rick went above and beyond what we expected. It is very clear that he really enjoys his job.

If you are looking for an affordable guide with very good chances at success, then Band of Brothers is definitely one to consider.

Had a great time hunting with y'all, need to mention, every hog these men put down was done by spot/stalk and one chased thru a field in the mule where he found his final resting place. Hogs hit there feeder early in the evening but decided not to come all the way in to give a good shot opportunity - decided to pull them out and go after them, the rest is in the pics above !

Yes, I am very comfortable on my rifle, but the 6x45mm in 85 grain @ 2850 FPS is obviously a hog sledgehammer too. And that helps!
