Where would you place a feeder or two?

Central Fannin County. Mostly hardwoods and cedars.

The property just north of the top red line appears to be cedars and unimproved/unkept. Probably grown up and possibly beddings areas. The area on the left (west) appears to be a pretty good size creek bottom flowing away from the property.

I have been told there are lots of deer that move through this small track of land. I have never seen it in person, but I at least plan on setting up a small feeder and camera this weekend for a few weeks to see what happens.

I would be bow hunting only.

I would go just south or just east of the tank.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Top left corner, north and east of the tank, should be a travel zone. It flows between both ponds and connects 2 larger wooded areas. If the land to the north is indeed heavy brush and cedar, then it is probably a great bedding area. The area east with the creek should be(I'm assuming), where oak trees should be,which makes for a great feeding area. If you can, put up 2 stands with the feeder in between. This way, you can keep the wind, regardless of direction, in your favor.JMO of coarse.

Sounds good to me.

I'd start in that little clearing just NW of the pond (that little point is pointing right at it). Set up a feeder and maybe clear a trail leading into it. It seems like when I set up a blind, I have to move it several times before finding the sweet spot. Set it up and feel it out!

Your options there are pretty close to property lines. I would make an effort to get to know those neighbors in case a shot deer crosses onto the next property. Good idea to know the neighbors anyway. Other than that the other suggestions are what I was thinking

60 acres is small. I would hunt the furthest away from any of your neighbors deer blinds. I would also set up with the prevailing winds.

Tough to tell by the pic but here's my .02:

Assuming the pic is oriented North then set up on the East/NE side of the property with feeder south/SE of your stand...for the prevailing wind. Looks like you have plenty of Junipers...that's good either cut a hole and tuck yourself into one (from the ground) or buy tripod and tuck it in. I have my tripods so buried you can't see the legs from the ground.

You can start knowing the movements by looking for scant - constantly. Tractor Supply sells the mineral blocks with corn mixed in - put a camera over that and you'll quickly see what kind of shooters you have - hawgs will eat it up quick but still worth it.

One more thing, I mark every rub/scrape with GPS...deer follow the same pattern year after year.

You've only got 20 acres of trees and bush so it won't take long to find the correct spot. Walk the north west fence line continue all the way east and the deer will give the answer(game trails). If wrong just pickup and move your stand.

Also try using a plot watcher game cam in the open areas for other possible stand sites.

I would try and maybe put a lock on close to the bedding are but not right on it. Try to catch a big buck going to bed.

Is the south fenceline that runs through the pasture in a draw? I like the patchy woods at the northwest part of property.. Deer could be moving through that easy path to get to the northern property quicker but cut up right before the lake.. Never had much luck hunting open area next to a big water source.. Why drink there when they could go sneak in from the north were there is cover

Also there is a funnel for deer trying to get from one draw to another at your western fence line... Really like the south western point also
