Thats AWESOME! I had always been under the impression that only Canada geese were legal during the early season!
I've seen Drew I.D. albino honkers in the air at 100 yds at least twice. Ain't no thang.

No skin off my nose. It's listed in the TPWD annual as "Early Canada Goose Season". I truly had no idea about snows or swans or whatever that is. Or that they would even be down this early. Whack em all!
