That's a great find. Jack county was ground zero for Comanche and Kiowa. Lots of history there.

Pretty cool find. Keep looking, there's more around there.

Better pic of the top half and a little history.

I hunt off Jamison road and the land owners are the Jamisons descendants. So I texted a picture to the landowner and he shared with me that his mother and her sisters use to find them all of the time and play with them like toys until they lost them. Willie (mom) told him Indian stuff back then was no big deal confused2

We have a neighbor by our place near Luckenbach that's about 96 now. He told me once that when his grandfather was a boy he was riding one day and saw a Comanche blocking his trail. He just turned the horse home and hooked 'em. 'Said his horse was just faster. We're really not that far away from those times, in the grand scheme of things.

Great find Stub, bet you could load a shoe box if you start poking around, one of my favorite "pastimes". Every time I find one, my imagination goes crazy, you never know the true story of an authentic point.

Western: Man I hope I get lucky and find more. You nailed on the imagination part, it would be cool as you know what to know the history behind just that one piece much less the whole tribe up

Kent: Actually just half of one, so I have another half to go before I would have to change my name from Stub to nidea
