A friend of mine has this deer on camera...had it on camera last year but never saw it during the season.

The VA state record for typical whitetails are in the high 180's (there are several deer that net over 180), but this is probably the biggest deer I have personally seen on a trail camera.

It's from a trail cam NOT a cell phone ..it was cropped and sent to my cell phone but the photo was taken from a trail cam.

The photo was originally taken from a trail cam but someone used a cell phone to take a picture of the computer and sent it to you. You can see it in the lower left hand side.

Great deer for VA! up

From what I have heard about deer in Virginia, that is really big.

Virginia has a lot of great deer (the one in the pic is obviously one of them) ..... the NT State Record is 250+ and State Record Typical is in the high 180's. There have been several over 180 over the years.

My taxidermist gets several 160's in every year and the occasional B&C deer. Our problem is getting the deer old enough to show their potential. Virginia isn't the Midwest but it has decent deer.
