Has anyone ever used the behind the ear-hearing aid style products from walkers for your hearing protection? They look like they would be great (except for the price, especially for two). Let me know the pros and cons or just if you think they would work or wind up being a pain. Thanks guys and have some fun out there this fall!

I use one(Elite HD Power) in my right ear about 50% of the time(I'm shooting left handed and the doc said it's best in the right ear). Does have a slight background hiss which I don't notice after a few minutes. Definitely amplifies the sounds around you and the noise compression when firing the gun is a plus. My ear doctor thought it was a good idea too. It does make it hard for me to determine exactly where a sound is coming from, but overall, I'm satisfied that the $211 was worth it.

Works great for me. Doubles as sound amplifier and suppression. I keep mine on a low setting like 2 or 3.
