I got my Axis mount back and it was bigger than wifie thought it was . Now she wants a new house .
He was 9 years old and weighed 320 # . He was in decline and had 34 1/2 " antlers with a 25" neck. It was a hunt of a lifetime .

Ya you have to be carful. My wife said the same thing. No elk hunting for me. I could cost me 100's of thousands I don't have. Great mount!

Most impressive. Especially the weight. I had no idea they could get over 300 pounds. I would have guessed 200-220 max.

My thought too, I would have loved to have seen this guy while alive, he would have been a site to see. I have shot a few that ranged from 220-240 pounds and they were amazingly huge.
