If you are in Burnet have a hankering for pizza, the Texas Pizza Company is a really good locally-owned business. Nothing fancy by way of the decorations, just a really good pizza at a fair price.

where is this located in Burnet?
one of my favorite places in Burnet, The Maxican, closed as of this past weekend. They could not re-negotiate agreeable terms of their building lease agreement and wanted more time with the family.

Head south on 281 from 29. It's down just a little ways on the left side, in a little strip mall with a red metal overhang. I think there is some kind of antique shop at the other end of the building.

Thanks, might give them a try sometime ... I usually hit Post Mountain BBQ, Bill's burgers, wings & things or the Maxican (closed this past weekend for good).

yep, agree. The owners of the Maxican still have their fairly new place just 2 blocks west of the hwy 29 & 281 intersection (north side of 29 at Hamilton creek), Bill's Burgers, Wings & things that is a pretty darn good hamburgers, fresh cut fries and homemade onion rings ...
