Anyone have experience with the Stik'n'shoot magnetic mount lights? Just wondering if they're worth the $200.00 investment.

I have seen these lights and they are pretty bright ( 200 lumens ) - my biggest concern is 4hrs of light and non rechargeable battery's -( 3xAAA can add up) or even worse having one get knocked off in the thick at night. I think the scope mounted lights are in my opinion a better way to go, they have rechargeable batts, pressure switch, car charger & home charger and the ones I get come with a 2year warranty all for $100 and are 250 lumens.

This of coarse is just my opinion and by no means is this an attempt to discredit them and there product!

I use them for clients that don't have their own lights. I like them. One thing you should do is if you are shooting above .30 cal is to put the lanyard on. Sometimes the recoil can cause the barrel enough vibration to knock it off. I think the battery is fine as you are only using it to actually kill the hog. You can use them on most bow doingles that have a metal shaft as well. You can order a pressure switch for them too. I agree they are pricey, but they are also convenient with the magnetic application versus bolts and nuts.

I went on Ebay and found some NICE LED hog lights with mounts and pressure switches that are 1,000 Lumens for 40.00 with free shipping. Rechargeable battery and charger included and mounts included. Like a huge Green or Red led spot light compacted into a small size that can attach to the top of your scope. Amazing things!

We give are hunters the scope mounted light, just a twist of a knob and its secured. I didn't know about a lanyard but that makes a lot of sense for sure, where does it mount ? Still a bit expensive with all the other lights out there and what they come with without having to order anything else you might need.

Again, just a. Opinion !

The lanyard can simply slide over the barrel like a lasso, it is just insurance in case the recoil vibration knocks it off.
