Has anyone converted their protein feeder into a timed feeder?

The only one I've converted is the 600lb boss buck which has a kit they sell to convert it to a corn feeder.

Depends on the opening size in the bottom of your spin feeder. All Seasons sells a short or long downspout funnel that will cover a 4" size hole and funnel it down to 2" opening. Then all you have to do is bolt one of their or other control units to the bottom of the feeder over the short/long downspout.
Here is a sight that sell all kind of parts to build your own spin feeder and you can order online from them. Find a local All Seasons dealer and should be able to get any of these also.

Might look into this style also if you are wanting to go with protein or both corn/protein.

I will try to find out because I'm curious as well.

I've built a few that can be used for protein or throwing corn. I just make sure the hole is big enough for protein to flow though easily but not to big where a thrower plate won't fit over it. I've used it for couple years without any problems.

This is the last one I built. Just drill the holes in the plate for any given thrower or protein tube and bolt on.
