Was looking though pics for something else and found this one thought it was funny. I've seen you tube's of coyotes attacking deer and I know it happens but in all my outdoors experience the coyote always avoid the deer.

Depends on who has the numbers, 4 coyotes, 1 deer, bad news for the deer. 4 deer, 1 coyote, bad news for the coyote.

Unless Wiley moved on muy pronto, it looks like he was about to get his ears boxed.

Good photo.

Here's an old photo I took several years ago. This old doe had twin fawns laying just off the road and she had no intention of letting this coyote anywhere near them. The yote stared at her for a few moments then moved on! Baker

This is the only way I have seen deer stick around when they see a coyote on my place...even then the doe did not stay to close or around very long.

Last season we where in our blind and started calling coyotes, had 2 of them running around the feeder pen, and I'll be damned if a doe doesn't come walking in and jump in the middle of the feed pen and start eating corn. Acted like they where not even there.
