Hopefully I'm posting this question in the correct location......

When performing a search does it include the subject field also? For example, when searching for CZ nothing is found but there is currently a CZ rifle for sale but it will not show in the search results. If you search HK or H&K nothing will show as well. Any info would be appreciated.

Ron

Put in CZ Rifle(caliber if you know it) on click the "in subject and body" then highlight the subforum it will be in or all the classifieds. Then put in a date range setting for how many days, weeks or months you want to search from if you know how long ago it was.

Thanks but I guess the search doesn't search part of the subject? Occasionally I'll do random searches to see if I've missed something that might interest me. I don't know caliber etc. I'll just search manufacture. I was using this resent post to test with earlier.

I think there is a minimum 4 character string required for searches. Search on "pig" or "308" and you get no hits but search on "2506" and you will. And special characters like "." and "-" don't count toward those 4 characters.

Thanks, you are correct. Any three letter/number search will come up with nothing.

This is what I do most the time. I put whatever I am looking for in quotations and then add Texas Hunting Forum after.

Like in the OP, I would google "H&K" Texas hunting forum

But h&K site:texashuntingforum.com worked.

It's important to put the full url (IOW include the ".com").
