Coyote set off the pig alarm(motion detector) mounted to the side of the feeder a little while ago. I grabbed the NV & FLIR and stalked out toward the feeder but another yote caught sight of me and sounded the alarm. They ran 300yards across the neighbors fence and just stood there barking at me. Cows and the neighbors barn were in the way so no shot. They kept barking at me for what seemed like 10 minutes.

Makes me wonder why the coyotes hang around the feeder. It took me 3-4 minutes to get saddled up and get out the door. Another couple of minutes to stalk out there and he was still there. Not the first time either. When I look at game camera cards they will linger for 5 minutes or so.

Hey, at least you had some excitement!
Coyotes and bobcats will often hang around or cruise the feeders because feeders attract prey for them including rodents such as rats and mice (that usually won't see off you cameras), rabbits, and raccoons, all at night, but also squirrels during the daytime as well. Bobcats will go after birds at your feeder also.

Wild. I just pulled the game cam card and have multiple videos of three coyotes eating the corn off the ground. Didn't know they ate corn.

They have alarms like this in Sportsman Guide, bought for home (buy additional units to work on same different beeps). Bought cheaper model at Northern Tool,
