Was a BBQ place on Hwy 6 headed south, Bunkhouse maybe, that I've heard good things about too.

Just west of meridian on 22 there is a small, small German restaurant. Audubon? Call first to make sure open and make a reservation.

Not much around there...Im in Meridian every weekend...Johnnys is home cooking.I personally hate bunkhouse...A must tho is Zapatas in Meridian...only open breakfast and lunch..A large breakfast burrito is enough food for 2..Their barbacoa is outstanding and only on weekends,,Usually run out by 10 am...Their lunch menu is very simple but their crunchy and soft tacos are incredible..Grandma sits there and makes the tortillas by hand..Just a heads up..You could get your food in 10 min or 25 min..I tell all first timers I take there, lets just enjoy,we dont have to be anywhere soon...Zer Autobahn is the German place..Its between Meridian and Cranfils gap on 22..There is a backroad from Clifton....Only open Thur to Sunday nights and sometimes for lunch on Sat..Authentic German food by a couple that runs the place....Excellent..But like mentioned before call ahead and see if they will save you a table..It only have around 190 tables in the place..

Sulak's (sp?) Bakery in Clifton is awesome!!! Their Jalapeno Cheese bread is to die for. The Mexican food place just east of Zapata's in Meridian (don't remember the name) is good food, too.
