Whitetails to me are just something else to shoot at. I like to shoot them but won't slow down hunting until it gets hot. I will hunt turkeys in spring, ducks, rabbits, squirrels, hogs, frogs, whatever is out there so deer season ending don't slow my hunting down much.

I do hope you get one if that's what you're after though.

Now hogs, 'coons, coyotes...that's a COMPLETELY different story. rifle

After the season closes, I intend to get even with a few squirrels that wouldn't stay quiet when I was listening for deer.

As for the deer, I saw a lot of them and took a doe and a spike that "needed killin" and saw several "next year" bucks, a couple of which had legal spreads.

Most importantly, myself and everyone that I know had a safe season.

Throw in a few coyotes and this seems to be the trend for me too. Glad I am on a year round lease.
