Looks like nightforce is going to be making the new atacr in ffp. This is going to be an awesome scope and would be perfect for my hunting rifle. Thoughts? here is the link to Sniperhide with the spec sheets. Walter

I agree. Has uncapped elevation and capped windage. That would be a perfect scope for my 06 hunting rifle.

I have been wondering why they have not come out with a FFP until now.

Yeah this is going to be for my remmy 700 30-06. My dad bought it for my hs graduation present and I haven't used it hunting the last two years because I have the custom 243. So before next deer season I am going to get a huber trigger for it. Have it bedded and get a new scope base rings and nicer scope. I was thinking a vortex pst. But this scope has really got my attention. Will also need to work up a load for it to get it shooting better than cheap factory ammo.

Walter, that will be a stout combination. A 180 Berger would go nice in that 30-06.

I agree. Little bigger bullet than I want for a e tx deer, but I don't want to have to work up two loads for when I go after something bigger so it will have to do. I know the factory barrel shoots pretty good with Remington corelok but I hope I can get it to atleast 3/4 moa consistently with handloads or it will have to get a new barrel. Problem is I don't want to change the look of the rifle too much because it is a rocky mtn elk foundation edition.
