I haven't seen a deer at the feeder since the 3rd weekend of the season!! They have gone nocturnal.

Our's are hitting the wheat hard right now and neglecting the feeders a bit.

Lot of fresh green growth in my area has deer moving less to the feeders. They still show up in the mornings/evening but just slower to get there and not going everyday. They eat their way there and then eat as they walk away. Don't stay near as long as they did 8 weeks ago.

I've hunted over a feeder only once this year. Saw one small buck. Prefer to hunt on our power line ROW and edges of fields and see deer almost every time I'm in that stand. I'm hunting their movement patterns, which gets really interesting during the rut, which appears almost (but not quite) over.

Yep, like been said before, that lovely wheat. They are on it most all night, and stx said, when they do come to the feeders don't stay long at all. And the reason called hunting. But sure love it!!

in my area they are now hitting the feeder heavily
when the acorns were on the ground they wouldn't get near it
they hit the winter grain fields across the county road at night I am sure
but they tend to eat all my corn on the way to them fields right now
long hard days a winter and the rut be gone for the most part
puts them on food hard
best chance to kill a monster if it aint rut is late evening over food for sure
up
