I have been bowhunting for about 25 years. Shoulder has started hurting so I bought my first crossbow. I figured my wife and daughters could also shoot it sometimes. My question is what is the best broadheads to use. I currently shoot 125 grain schwackers mechanicals and love them. Should I go back to fixed blade design with a crossbow. Thanks for the info. Hope everyone is having a good season so far. I've shot 3 with my diamond ice man this year so far on public land. God bless and be safe out there.

I'm shooting 150gr Slick Trick Xbow Tricks in my Matrix 380, and they seem to shoot well. I have a package of NAP mechanicals that were my backup in case the Slick Tricks didn't shoot well. I think both are good. Shoot the Schwackers, if they shoot well then use 'em!

I would stay with the 125 grain schwackers mechanicals. They will shoot just fine with a crossbow up

Exit wound from a NAP FOC 170 grain mechanical fired from an Excalibur Matrix 405 using 19 inch BE Zombie Slayers with 92 grain inserts. Total bolt weight (shaft and head) of 490 grains:

I would only use a fixed blade, mechanicals can open on firing with xbows, 125gr at least

This was the entry from a NAP 3 blade out of a Barnett 350, exit was opened up wide and great blood trail. It destroyed his lungs, he ran about 60 yards.
