My brother shot this raccoon couple days ago. I think it'll make a great mount!

There's a full mount albino raccoon at Behrend's Feed in Luckenbach. He's wearing a Santa hat right now.

That should make a great mount. I saw an albino squirrel once time but I couldn't get a shot on it.

Was that a blonde/cinnamon or albino raccoon? I have caught 3 blonde color phase ones in the past. I had one in the freezer to mount but dang freezer went out and it ruined. Should make a neat mount. Here is what mine looked like.

Didn't know there was a difference... Seemed pretty white to me so I thought it was albino. We had on game camera for last two years so doubt it was going through a blonde phase.

They don't go through a blonde phase just are that light blonde color all their life. No pink skin color of an albino either. I have seen a pic of an albino raccoon and it was white compared to the blonde ones I have caught.

Google Albino Raccoon and look at the color. That is what I thought I might have on the first one I caught. But the TPWD biologist had a blonde color phase mounted in his office and told me they were caught from time to time in the area.

X2. Not really an albino though, those lack some pigment or something and look like ghosts-straight up. This doesn't lack that pigment since there are rings on the tail lol.

Awesome kill regardless. Mount's gonna be awesome. up
