Got the chance to take a few days off and run up to our lease in Oklahoma with my buddies East & Captain Bly this weekend, we had a great trip. We found 7 coveys Saturday, 9 coveys Sunday (didn't even start till noon) and then only 2 coveys Monday morning. I didn't get great pictures, I thought I had left my good camera and was using my semi broken backup until Monday when I realized I did have my better one.

Great.

Nothing against the other dogs, but I just love the look of the tricolor ones.

Thanks Y'all.
Blanked - We look to be on a rebound but it could get even better in the next few years with perfect conditions. The cover on this property is unreal, some of the bluestem is 5' tall. We look for the shorter grass with Ragweed in the mesquite flats & draws, thats where we are finding our birds this year. There are more birds in the creek bottoms but when you find them, you cant get on em.

We haven't killed any blues.

what part of OK were you hunting? I bird hunted a place east of Ryan several years ago and I was surprised by the number of birds. I bet they have a bunch this year.

My wife's brother lives up in NW Oklahoma and he said he has seen more wild birds this year than he has in the last 10 years.

So great to see the big improvement on Bobs in so many areas.
It seems the Big Guy knows how best to care for his.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing and congrats!
