So my dad is gettin that age where you old fellars start recognizing nature for what it is and instead of shooting something you just want to admire it and take pics of it. wink

For X-Mas I was planning on getting him a nice budget camera to take pics with from the blind. Something in the range of $200-250 with a 32x or 42x zoom. Gotta be digital and easy to use and import photos. Looking right now at a Canon SX520.

I "inherited" a Tasco and it takes pretty good pics. It gives date, time, and moon phase. Very happy with it.
