This last week I've had two incidents in different places with poachers the first one was on Monday I think I was sitting in my stand after work when I got a text from a hunter on my place in Hood Co he said he was watching two men walking along a tree line in camo and he saw them go behind a tank dam and lost sight of them, I was about twenty minutes away on another property so I started that way. Before I got there a white diesel truck drove through on an ingress egress road and probably picked them up. When I got there I went into the woods armed to the teeth but they were long gone or hiding very well so we didn't bother the game warden. The second was this evening I was headed to the stand on a third property I hunt in Palo Pinto Co and I saw my cousin in his yard so I pulled in and he told me some idiot has been bragging to one of his best friends about going out to one of our places and poaching (which would explain why that place went from great to dead all of the sudden) I told him I don't see how because someone (mostly me) has been hunting out there almost every day but he said yeah but not at midnight and his friend even saw this guy pulling in there one night. This poaching really hacks me off they never seem to get caught and it seems like we're wasting the wardens time every time we call. This last one is arrogant and fortunately blabbed to the wrong person my cousin says he has a plan to get him caught and I hope they do and throw the book at him and every other one of those pricks. I work my tail off year round and spend countless amounts of money to make my places better for hunting and the deer herd and for some jerk to come in and poach really gets under my skin.

Call the game warden and let the law handle it.
