I guess all of Baffin is tidal area than as well as the island considering how friggin shallow it is!

Lol but don't cross any of the cable boundaries that mark the mustang island state park. Those are easy to avoid. Wooden pilings with a cable through em, an everything is labeled, but if you have to step over a cable to start walking then you are on the state park land there. Stay around the church and it's pretty safe

And dude if you live here, go scout where you want to hunt exactly, if you can drive there without any no trespassing signs or state park land then hunt it, not that complicated

Well I've heard and read so many different things about the area I'm just trying to make sure so I dont get into trouble with the law. I'm open for PMs too. I'm really talking about the same general area.

And yes I have scouted where I intend on hunting,I'm not a lazy @ss who just internet scouts, but from what I'm reading in online articles to the forum, its somewhat different.

Exactly what I said like 3 times. Apparently the gw has no say so here though.

I've called the GW before and gotten different answers than a Federal GW gave me. Just bc the local TPWD game warden says its good doesn't necessarily mean it is. Tough to follow laws when the LEOs aren't on the same page.

I have a lot more faith in what a state GW tells me. I don't think I've ever been checked by feds. And if you get the green light from a state GW and a fed does give you a hard time, dial up the state GW and let them have a conversation.

To me it's more about the hassle than being right. I'd rather hunt where I know I won't be bothered.
