Son is looking to upgrade his pop-up for Christmas. Any suggestions? He uses it to bow hunt and for turkey hunting in the spring. Looking at the Primos XXL and the Primos Blind Luck but open to any suggestions.

Might post this in the bow hunting section also.

I have the Primos XXL and really like it. I use it to bow hunt and to rifle hunt out of. The windows are nice and big and give you plenty of options to set up. Also has plenty of room inside it also. I have had it for two seasons now and seems to be holding up well. I really don't have any complaints about it and if I was looking to buy another pop up would go with this again.

Popups are like game cameras.....everyone uses them differently and puts them through different situations. Hence, it pays to go with the best warranties if you are rough on your gear. If you take care of your stuff, which includes storing in climate controlled environment, you can go with the less expensive models.

Killzone makes a pretty solid product. The prices are very reasonable and I've never had any issues with mine. This picture was taken a few years ago, never knew I was there.

Best quality...Double Bull
Best warranty...Double Bull

I would spend the extra $ on a DB.

With that being said, I have a Cabelas Zonz 360. I havent sat in it 1 time so I can speak to performance. There have been 2 deer shot out of it this year by other lease members. It has held up in the weather/sun so for but I have owned it for 4 months.

Very happy with my ameristep bone collector. Me and my wife both fit very very comfortably in it. Big windows, easy up and down. I got it on sale at cabelas for $89. Paid $5 for a 1 year no questions asked warranty.

I switched to the Primos Double Bull Shack Attack this year.

Have two of them. I won't go back to the cheaper ground blinds.
