I hate net wire fencing but it was necessary when sheep and goats drove the economy in the Hill Country. Since we no longer run sheep and goats and never will again, we are slowly replacing net wire with 5 strands of barbwire and running only cattle. Only thing worse than seeing a deer hung in a fence is to see your best hound which has happened to me on many occasions.
Adios,
Gary

I have been a member for awhile but never post anything. I read multiple times a day. I just never post. I found this dove hunting this year on family property. Made me sick. 18 point. 186 class deer.

What a buck and what a shame...Nearly as bad as seeing your dog hanging upside down.
Adios,
Gary

I'm sure being hung in that fence contributed a tad to the weight loss..The adjoining Ranch where that fence is participates in NO feeding Program and have seen many a poor critters migrate to us to eat. We are high fenced on one side and during times of drought have seen Does hung at the top of the fence dead trying to clear it to gain access to feed. Never good Sir
