Dont make it in this section much - but figured you guys may know more about this than the migratory regulars.
Looking for recommendations - have no clue about which magnification aperture combo is best and definitely have no clue on brands. I'd use them for general scouting / hunting purposes. Looking to stay in the 250 dollar price range. waterproof would be nice too if this is possible. thanks fellas!

I have some Minox that were around that price range from Cameraland. They are great for the price.

I bought some Vortex Diamondback 10x42 this year. I absolutely love them. They were $229+tax. I think there are some for sale right now in the classified section for $140. That's a steal because Vortex offers a lifetime no fault warranty. Even if there was something wrong with them, Vortex would replace them. I'm considering buying them myself as I think they are way underpriced.
