If your using a drop away rest, does it really matter if your off colored vane is pointed north or south?

When we shot spring rests the [censored] vane was always pointed away from the riser

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Agree with Bobo. Fletching cable clearance or for spine orentation, otherwise the fletching orentation should not matter with a dropaway. I test with a vain pointed down when installing one for max clearance

I'll reiterate what was said above. It doesn't matter with a drop away rest. Having said that, mine is always pointed up as well. It's just how I have it set up.

Yeah but one is still the cocked vane, it's just a case of orientation and I'll leave it at that.
