In the same boat. Altho the widest they come in is only 2E, I've been wearing Danner Pronghorn Snakeboots for several years now. Only snakeboot I ever had that was truly comfortable. I assume their regular hunting boots would be the same.
In order to get thru the day, and I am walking the biggest part of it, I wear thin support socks. Anything thicker, and my old splayed out feet give me fits! As I said, I've been wearing them alot for the entire quail season for several years, and the Goretex lining still seems to do a fair job keeping the water out.

Same problem here. I finally broke down and had some made for me by Russell Moccasin Co. They make sow. Of the best hunting boots you can buy. With the price of boots today getting customs made by Russell isn't to much more. I've had several pairs made since the first.
