Bought this place in March and my son and I have been working it hard since. These were some of the major things we did in October/November.
Added on to existing slab work.

Put a septic system in at the request of the ladies

Picked up some land clearing implements that easily hooked up to the skidsteer attach points ...here's one of the at work.

Put in a second blind.

And finally put another feeder in. This is a shorty and I can fill it standing flat footed on the ground. Hoping for mainly hogs on this one.

Yea... those two pieces are used the most. That tree shear will slice a 10" mesquite at the ground in about 6 seconds.

I guess you do get a bit of satisfaction from it....but it is quickly blown away thinking about what all still needs to be done. It's been about 55 years since I've done this kinda ranch work and I'm worn out after 6 hours of it.

When a man runs out of things to do, he runs out of a reason to be here. You should live along time grin Plus, nothing worse than having nothing to do....Working your own place is a trump card.

Do you run that tree cutter on your tractor or a skid steer?
