So I was thinking I have a few days coming up that ill get to the lease bout 9-10am.. What would be better as far as seeing more... Sitting in a stand at a feeder or just in one spot ...or.... Slowly doing some spot and stalk.. Like maybe walk 50-100 yards and stop for 10-20 min each time?

IMO, stalking is better under windy conditions when noise and movement is not as easily detected.
I once read a good book that covered stalking deer and how the trick is to avoid sounding like a deer in your movements. As the author stated, anything that moves in the woods is going to make noise. The key is to avoid sounding like a human.

Depends on what you call good. Back when there were fewer hunters around I still hunted up several bucks on our land in Missouri. But back then most any buck was a good one.

I managed to stalk a doe up to 20 yds until it finally saw me and pranced away. I couldve easily taken a shot with my bow. Stalking does work, you just have to watch your feet and stay low.

Stalking works great, but you have to use your eyes 1000 times more than your feet. Move at the speed of a shadow.

If you are in fairly open country and have the room to do it stillhunting is a lot more fun, challenging, and (usually) productive.
It's tougher in east TX. You can say you are stillhunting but unless it is wet to have any success you are really just moving slowly from place to place and staying at each stop for a good while.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

I've only had success at stalking in the Hill Country and only on windy days. The Hill Country has glades separated by juniper. I was able to walk from glade to glade and just peak out to see if there were any deer in the glade. This type of stalking doesn't require you to walk slowly, which I like.

I love to still hunt, but I am in open country. I have done it in N/E Tx when it's wet.

I stalked today - did not see a single deer but found fresh rubs. I could have had the drop on a squirrel or two though!
My botnet is bigger than yours.
