Bobo, sorry to put this here but I need tips fast.

I bought a Butterball "indoor" turkey fryer. Anyone use this contraption?? Any advice on using it?

I was going to do it in the garage, cause I just can't see frying inside (greasy mess) to clean up.

Fry it outside, there have been lots of house fires from frying turkey indoors, garage included. Too much oil and heat is often the culprit but better safe than sorry. The link above has the number for butterball help and is open today.

Has instructions for indoors with electric fryer. Gas should always be used outdoors

Get it 20 feet from any structure.

Place turkey in, fill with water, remove turkey, mark the water line, pour out water, fill with oil to the line.

That's all I got.

Cool link kmon 1. Think I'll do it indoors, just spread newspaper underneath it. It is all self enclosed. I'll post results

You don't have to worry about frying it indoors. It's no different then a deep fryer.

You will love it once you learn how to use it. I've had mine for 4 years now.

This thing is great, used it inside as instruction stated, no huge mess, clean up was quick and easy due to then drain spout. If you like fried turkey, give this thing a shot. $79.00 at Academy

Turkey was GREAT!!!
