Dug a pipeline locate last week south west of Mertzon. Customer called this morning and said the barricade was knocked down. Drove up to check it out and...

Let him thrash around and wear himself down a bit. Laid hands on him and he still had some gas left in the tank. He had a bad attitude when he came outta there.

Glad you got him out. Must have been quite a chore.

You could have put a bull rope on that sucker an went for the 8!! Odd looking chute you had though and you wouldn't have known which "way from your hand" he was going to turn LOL

Never would have tried that for catching a big buck. I've found snakes in trenches the next day, but never a nice ten point. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong with food plots and corn? smile

Very cool. Nice job getting him out up

When I was hunting the caprock, there were alot of crevices that looked like that. We found a skeleton of a nice buck stuck in one, no telling how old. That was before cell phone cameras though.
