We have shot a few banded Woodies on my family's place and they always seem to have been banded in Iowa. Nice bird.
Hope you remembered to pick up the empty hulls in the water.

I shot a wood duck yesterday for the first time in a couple years. Cool duck, congrats on the band!

Hope you remembered to pick up the empty hulls in the water. Ya, I've had several people tell me Iowa bands a lot of woodies. And we always pick up our hulls, no worries!
Duck Hunting- The only time it's not awkward to get a woody with your friends.

I think your picture idea is the best alternative to mounting him! Great idea!
