Anyone else hunting in Somerville county? I bought 30 acres in 2013 the kids only pulled does off the first year. On every hunt this year my son and I typically see 8 or 10 does and 1-2 immature bucks. Waiting on this guy to show up or something bigger. I think he is a bit young, but the older buck from last year is a no show. So someone likely got him. 8(

We're east of town, seeing several does & a few marginal bucks each time out.. There are good ones out there but we haven't seen them recently..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

We are west of town atop of Chalk Mountain about a mile or so from the entrance of Rough Creek Lodge.

He's a dandy! Good luck...my wife's parents live south of town down 144. The AR restrictions have helped GR greatly...
Let us know if you get him!
