Anyone on here ever use a tag application service? There are a couple in UT and one in AZ. I thought I remembered one guy in NM, but can't find anything on the internet. I've only heard negative comments about the Cabela's service.

Any help much appreciated.

I use Hunter Application Service- Larry is a very knowledgeable guy and gets my high recommendation. That's the AZ one.

I usually do it myself but did have buddies this year that used cabelas which turned into a real bad deal. I am considering a service for next year though so would love to hear others experiences.

Considering the application form includes name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, drivers license number, physical attributes... wow. Even worse, a malicious person now knows where weapons are. Yes, I get it... "try to come and take it" but that's beside the point. Of course I would defend but don't want to be in the position of having to defend. I also understand my reaction/position may seem hyper-critical to some of you. To each their own. I contacted them saying I'd like to try the service but absolutely would not and I'd share these security concerns with the community where I learned of the site.
