I have heard several times that they are planning to put it out in the near future, but I also would not say that I have reliable sources on this front. I think it should have been the first one they put out instead of the 380.
Of course, the problem most people will have with a SS 9 is that it will be roughly the same size as the G26, only a little thinner.

I talked to the glock reps at Fallen Brethren Multigun a couple of months ago and they said there weren't plans to make one. Things may have changed though.
