for moving my blind and feeder once the season is in full swing? I've had very little action this season in the area where my blind (pop up) is set up. 2 deer in range in 6+ sittings. There's an area about 600-700 yards away that I'm seeing lots of tracks, and have spotted a couple deer in (maybe more but it's a limited field of view from where I'm currently at) but I came out the day after we got a heavy rain, and there were deer tracks everywhere over there. There's something holding them, maybe just added cover, and my feeder doesn't seem to be enough to draw them over here.
If you were me, would you move your whole set, 3 weeks into the season? Or ride it out and hope they start coming in.

Do u still have corn on the ground at ur current location? If not, stay put. If so, u could always hand throw corn at the other spot and re-locate the pop up. I think moving the feeder would be too much this early.

I wouldn't make that big of change midway through, file the info away for nest year.
Meantime, make another temporary blind, brush whatever, pour out some corn (mind the wind direction) and hunt the new spot. Deer don't "have" to have a feeder. Be as un-intrusive as you can though.

Thanks guys. Honestly hadn't even thought of that. I'll check on how much corn is still on the ground after I get out of the blind.

If you don't have corn, take some out of the feeder, that will work in a pinch, but a pita. You have cedars? They are easy to make a temp blind. Cut the limbs low on the side you want to look (few as possible) place the cut limbs in front of you. May have to cut a few from other trees to build enough, but don't make a 20' pile that sticks out, just what you need to be concealed.

Well, I got the pop up down and ready to move, and realized at some point this week my wife's cousin decided to come out and set up his feeder again. He didn't think he was going to hunt this year, and his feeder had been sitting empty. I was going to set up about 100 yards from there, but thought better of it. So I just put the blind back in the same field, just moved it down about 75 yards so I have better line of sight.

Hand corn a larger area around your feeder along roads or edges of openings.

Don't know where your hunting, but where I live, corn is piling up and corn I have thrown out down the road is sti there after 5 days. Don't depend to totally on corn right now, unless they are on it good.
