Looking to get a Plotmaster or something similar to pull behind a Polaris and also possibly a tractor (I know some will accommodate both)...any feedback/reviews on them or similar products?

(Edit: looking for suggestions for implements for a UTV, as per discussion below)

Lot of money for what you are getting IMO. You can buy a used disc and used grain drill less than the cost of the Plotmaster. You will have money left over to put towards a tractor. You can rent a Tye No-till drill from Sealy Tractor along with other small ag equipment.

Agree with STX a 1000% unless you have unlimited resources. The PM will be good for 1 thing only, buying the implements separate will allow you to use them in several different fashions. A disk and seed spread will do what you want, then make a simple drag like most of the fellas here do, you will be out less than $1500. Going this route, all you loose is the small cultipacker on the PM.

You can use the broadcast seeder (PTO type) as a fertilizer spreader as well, just rinse the hell out of it afterwards and oil it when sitting for a long period.

You can go through Ag Credit and likely finance a tractor and the implements for a very good rate, my last ag loan for my small tractor was at 1%

Thanks guys! Think I'll go with your suggestions! We have access to a tractor, but it is only on the property part time, that's why I'm looking at other options. I want to be able to use my Polaris 900 when I have it out there with me, as I always bring it. Will look into getting various implements. Y'all run any of these with a UTV?

I haven't as I have always had tractors, but I do know they make some light, just for ATV/UTV's

This fall I used a small disc with a cultivator behind it pulled by my Kawaski Mule. It worked great and I actually did better with it than a friend of mine with his tractor with a larger cultivator behind it. His was much deeper than mine but it was not required to go that deep. My oats, wheat and clover came up better than his area.

All depends on your soil. Most the time atv type implements only work for about 10% of the soil. On top of that if your food plot is over an acre that's a lot of time and wear and tear on your utv.

I agree with BoBo, if you use something heavy enough to actually work, you will burn the belt off your ranger.
