Anyone have any reports on the quail in Coleman? I saw a few covey opening weekend of deer season but did not bother pulling out the shotgun. I might have to do that this weekend if I see a bunch.

This was from that general area; "Huge coveys but it was hot and the seasoned dogs wore out quick. Ran the 4 pups just for experience but only one really clicked. If our shooting had been better we'd have had a good meal lol."  [/quote]

I am in Talpa and have seen atleast 4 large coveys this year and numerous small ones. More birds than I have seen over the alst few years combined

I'm in Voss and we are covered up in quail. I saw more quail than dove this year.
