What's on your wall wishlist this year? Last year I put up a beautiful wigeon and hooded merganser.

This year I'd like to see a bull sprig and a big Green Head.

What's on your list this year? My goal is 2 Ducks/Season on the wall!

Pintail or mallard. I would say wood duck but there's little to no chance of seeing one here.

My first mount last year was also a hooded merganser.

Me and Cdoz35 called in 5 longbeards within 15 yards last spring. Had em all strutting and gobbling. It was a very fun hunt. We whacked two each and those are my two beards from the bunch.

This is how I'd like to do my next two duck mounts

Mallard

Pintail

I'd like another band. I'd settle for another odd bird.

A rain gauge with about 7 inches in it would look good

Got a whiffling snow and a speck that should be done any day now. Dropped a tundra swan off Sunday. Gonna have to sell something to pay for what's on the way!

I like the drake/hen mounts too.. if my GF hadn't shot the wigeon that same hunt, I'd have mounted the Hen Hooded we took with the Drake!

I'd also like a drake/hen woodie mount! Or any woodie mount for that matter!

I'd like to get the ducks I shot last year out of the freezer and take them to the taxi. About the time I get the $$ saved up, something happens. Car troubles, medical bills, wife loses job, ect.

My season wish list consists of a Pintail. What makes me want to get one more is that my brother in law shot one on our last hunt last season to fill a limit and now it's mounted in his room. I had some chances to put one down last year, but it just never happened for me. Maybe this season. Will get my first chance this weekend.

How do yall feel about the duck strap mounts? I think they're kinda cool.. Especially for a kid's first limit or something like that!

Had a fella offer to take a cast of the kids hand and make a bronze out of it to hold the strap. Might turn out cool.

More than any single duck this year, I'd like to see diversity.

So far I have:
BWT hens
Woody drakes and hens
Redhead drake

Hoping to tag out on WT this weekend, which leaves the rest of the season in TX for ducks

That's a good idea I'd love to see some pics of that!

That dead mount is sweet! One day I'm gonna do it!

I got my green head this weekend, he's in the freezer till I can run him to my Taxi buddy's house! What's yall's favorite Mallard pose? He's pretty much in perfect condition so the sky's the limit!
