Yep, headed to the lease in about an hour. Planning to stay 5-6 days. Forecast is 20's every morning and 40's for highs. Should be about perfect if the wind cooperates. Good luck to those going out.

The wind looks kinda stiff the next couple of days. Do y'all think it's best to stay away until Thursday when the wind looks to lay down a bit or get in there asap? I hunt a very small amount of land (10acres) in Ranger (eastland co.)

Given the history of the deer that frequent my place, I would wait until the wind dies down. I plan to hit it hard this weekend, can't get out any sooner, but the weather looks favorable for the friday thru sunday hunts better than this week with the high winds.

Can't wait. Love this time of year, but don't know what we will see. Could be hot or it could be boring with all the deer staying away from feeders and breeding instead??

Saw plenty of deer in the wind last Saturday. Good luck everyone. Be safe
