I'm building my dad an AR-15 for his Christmas present. My mom wants to buy the optics for him, but she wants to spend no more than $150. We know he wants a red dot sight (no magnification needed, but he's not opposed), but we can't get too much more from him without blowing the surprise. I have EOTech's, but mom doesn't want to spend that much. I have no experience with any others. I know we want to find a parallax-free sight in the 4-5 MOA range. Single red dot is preferred, but it's not a deal-breaker. Does anyone have experience in the area that can make a recommendation?

She has a budget of $200, but wants to use the other $50 on a mag and ammo. If we HAVE to go to the $200 mark, we can.
