Anyone had a deer processed here? How is it. Their Facebook page looks like they have some really good steaks and chops. I just moved to tomball and hope these guys are good bc they are walking distance from my house.

If they are within walking distance, make the walk. Go say "Hi," and take a look around. Talk to them about what they do and how they do it. Ask if they track your animal or do they just give you equivalent poundage from what ever deer is handy. You should walk away with a gut feeling about the place and people, good or bad. If you still feel good about the place give them a deer and let us know!

I stopped by last night and bought some assorted meats including Arkansas Bacon. It is a something like a cross between ham and bacon. Unbelievably Delicious. All their meat looks great. I will take a deer to them this weekend and let yall know.

Went by there this morning. Bought some jalapeņo and cheese summer sausage and jalapeņo and cheese sausage. Summer Sausage is delicious.

They do do deer processing, but you Need to have skinned it beforehand. They do not sell any venison to the general public. Hope this helps a little bit.

Hildebrandt's off of Dowdell Road is usually the place mentioned for deer processing near Tomball. They've done a good job for me and the deer doesn't have to be skinned (or even field-dressed, probably).
