Gunna give it a try. Heard a lot of you say today that early afternoons can be good with a moon like we had. Hopefully it's productive.

With a moon like this, I like to be in stand at daybreak since the big bright moon stays up well after sunrise you may catch a buck caught off gaurd by the lack of darkness to light transition. By 8:30 I go get something to eat and get back in stand to hunt from 10-3:30. It seems as though I see a lot of the hurrying to bed bucks and then the ones from 1030-2 buck movement.

The last couple of days I've had a mature 8 showing up around 2:30 or so on TC. So I'm sitting and waiting on him.

Yep. I've seen some deer and pigs this year. I just think the full moon made them active at night and the 20+ mph winds kept em bedded all day.

You just have to keep going out and eventually they'll come out of hiding!!!

Pulled my TC cards yesterday, seeing much more mature deer around 10-11am in my neck of the woods, also late evening as well, they are moving here pretty good. Very few older bucks in the early am.....
