Looks like a piebald buck to me, not very common.

I have been told piebald but if you look close up it looks like he is raw
under his jaw and a spot on his side. I have also read that they have a lot
of health issues.

That rawness would make me think he was sick. Doesn't look right. I'd put him down, personally.

I cant see the "raw" spots, but looks like any piebald I have seen (only one in person, the rest where in photos,video or stuffed though) I don't think a few raw spots on the Off color area is a shocker, less pigment protection maybe? Other than the color, looks healthy to me though.

I was just watching TV show about deer catching a disease that makes them not eat. Up north a lot of the deer died.



It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Found that feeder in the pasture (free)as long as it works the deer don't
mind at all. Some of the other pics I have o him seem to show his ribs and neck bones.

Looks sick to me from the pics. If it were me, I would send the pics to my local GW and let him decide what should be done with it. I'm sure he would be interested to know.

I was more impressed by the quail under the feeder. That may be more rare!
