Just saw a cool sight. 8 does/yearlings feeding in my foodplot. All of a sudden, a coyote bursts out from the switchcane in a full run closing in on one of the yearlings. It was neck and neck until my .270 barked- and I missed. bang

Oh well, he didn't get her today at least and I got to witness another production of nature's drama.....

It's all good-the miss reminded of what my Grandaddy used to say when I would miss a squirrel, "You skidded him boy!" At least I "skidded" him. smile

Coyote probably thinking "Damn! those deer are armed!!" That's has to be neat to see, all the time I've sopent in the woods and never saw that, usually after mice and bugs.

Saw the same thing 2 years ago in S. Texas, craziest thing I ever seen, Full grown deer being chased by a coyote. I too took a shot and missed.

Well shoot NP, how would you feel when an attorney resorts to chuting at ya?

I'd be thinking "Damn! he must have a good case" grin
