Going to look at a place on saturday. 725 acres just no clue of what the hunting is like around there. My partner saw turkeys and javelina out there last year

Find a high spot above any available water and sit down be still and quite! If there is no water on the place look for a trail and find somewhere to ambush an animal downwind from the trail. Again ... find a bush or tree to breakup your outline and quitely wait them out!! Good Luck on your hunt! Baker

Just going to look at the place saturday and see what sign is out there and where I can place feeders and blinds. Owner was last out there june 2013 and said he saw turkey and javelina so hopefully there will be some deer sign also

Used to hunt the Loma Alta area and it was great, just a long drive for me.

Put the feeders in canyons and draws and set blinds up higher on hills. Find or make trails to your stands opposite from feeders to sneak in before day break. Scatter corn over the area in the afternoons to not disturb hunting times, and be patient. Lots of deer out there.
Good Luck.
